Unknitting and Knitting

I must actually be feeling quite more human now since I actually took out knitting last night. I took out the sock that I began in Korea and took a look at it. Anyone want to see what happens when I knit and cough and feel really sick?Yeah, the whole sock looks like that too. It's really quite sad too since this is how far along I was:
But, I refuse to have holy socks, so this is what the sock turned into last night:And because I couldn't stand to re-knit with the curly yarn (It's drying straight now), I decided to cast on a new sock and begin that.Cascade Fixation in some springy pastel colors. I only got a few rows done before I crashed for the night and fell asleep watching American Gladiators. Did you see that they brought that back? I used to watch that show as a kid and loved it. It was OK in the new series too, but I was sleepy and fell asleep.

So now my goal for today is to make it through my second full day of work and try and get caught up on all the stuff I'm behind on. I may even knit during my lunch break today. I'm starting to actually have the mindset to do some knitting again.

Knit on...

Glad you are feeling better!

Bummer about the sock - and cheers to an unholy second run! :-)
