Once in a Blue Moon

Did you all see the Harlot's post? If not, click here.

That's rediculous. Now, DBF and I owned our own little small business and not once did we ever have our bank question whether we were scamming people. No one could be that interested in sock yarn? These bankers have never met a sock knitter have they? They would not understand how I can have an entire closet full of sock yarn or how I can always find time to knit a little on my sock, even when I don't have time to knit anything else. They don't understand that normal women can have this obsession, so of course, the Socks that Rock gals must be stealing credit card information and scamming people for their sock club (I have been on the waiting list for this club for a while now, so scam away). Anyways, enough about that. Good luck ladies and I hope you get your credit card stuff back up and running on your site soon. Knitters are prone to uniting over stuff like this, so your business will grow even more now.

On other knitting news, I worked on the sock some last night and managed to get done with all the ribbing for the top of the sock. Once I get to the stockinette part, it flies, so I'm looking forward to having a pair of socks done by next week sometime. Then it's finish DBF's scarf.

I have also been commissioned to create an ankle-length open sweater thing. I doubt there are many patterns for this, but the chick gave me a picture, so I'll be trying to design something out of it (and also searching free pattern websites everywhere in case I'm entirely too lazy arsed to design it).

That's it for today. Knitting pictures on Monday where hopefully I'll either have a pair of socks done, mostly done, and some progress on a really cool scarf. Have a great weekend!

Knit on...

Oh, I posted on my blog for the first time in ages - come see what I knit with your yarn! :-)
