Best Laid Plans

So, yeah, about that job offer in Gwangyang...

I still have the offer, the only problem is that DF is not in Gwangyang. There was miscommunication and they sent him to the town they originally told him he was going to be in: Naju. He's not very happy at all right now, so we're trying to figure out what to do. There appear to be no positions open in Naju right now and since they told him he would be going to Gwangyang, I was happy about this and I even got a job offer there. Naju is about 2 hours away from Gwangyang, so right now my job plans are on hold. The whole point of this was so we could be in the same city and could get to each other easily and be together.

Anyways, I guess this is what knitting is for. I worked some on the heel flap of the sock yesterday, but that was about it. I also crocheted a creation that I'm submitting to the AntiCraft. Zabet seemed interested and hopefully after seeing the design, both she and Renee will like the little horror.

I also did some beading last night. I'm on a prayer bead kick right now. They're so easy to make and they look so pretty, so I just keep on beading them. They're either going to be Christmas presents for people, or they're going to go up on my Etsy store just because I don't know what else to do with them. This is one of my favorites. It's blue and white and just seems appropriate to have prayer beads when UK is doing so well in football :oP Here's the rest:Yep, they're multiplying. There's also something comforting about making these too. Anyways, today is Tuesday, so that means lunch and evening SnB. I'll be seeing Kim at lunch and I'll tell her about all the crap that has developed (she saw me on Sunday when I was all happy that I would be getting in the same city as DF). Blah. I'm really trying to get the mystery stole knocked out by this weekend, so we'll see if it can be done. At least the wing has a nice easy lace repeat pattern that makes working it go much faster.

Knit on...

Boo! That sucks. I hope something works out eventually.

That does suck, a whole lot. I hope you both get things worked out!

But on the bright side, your beads are lovely. (Cold comfort, I know.)

It will all work out. We'll commiserate over the weekend, because right now things are going in the crapper for me. Bah. Knitting will always be there for us! :-D

Sorry to hear about the whole job thing. Don't worry. Things will work out in the end. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Oh, and those beads look beautiful! Especially the blue and white ones. GO UK!
