Spinning As Therapy

So last night when I got home from work, I wasn't in much of a mood to knit at all, so I grabbed my spinning wheel and parked it in front of the couch, leaned back, and spun.I spun a lot. I spun a second bobbin of singles for the llama, plied the two bobbins of singles, then I spun up two more bobbins of singles out of the wool/soysilk batt that I picked up at ReBelle on Tuesday. After working with the llama so much here recently, I forgot just how easy it is to spin wool. The soysilk was interesting too since I had never even tried that before.
The colorway on the batt was called Woodstock. I think it looks like the ocean and I'm looking forward to plying it tonight once I wind the two finished bobbins of llama into a skein and give it a good washing.I still can't believe how much llama fiber I still have too. It feels like a never ending supply.

Everyone is still down at the office. We're all taking off on Monday to go to the funeral.

So, I'll leave you with a video of Spooky pretending that she's a cat...

Too funny! That is EXACTLY how my cats act when they chase stuff!
